Consumer Information

The Czech Bar Association has been authorized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic to handle the out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes arising from contracts for the provision of legal services between a lawyer and a consumer, pursuant to Section 20f of Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, as amended.

Under the Consumer Protection Act, a consumer is defined as a natural person who is not acting within the scope of their business activities or the independent exercise of their profession.
